About me!
Hi! I’m Daniel Moo Young Kim — a product designer who believes great UX starts with understanding people’s needs, fulfilling them, and making everyday life just a little more convenient. That’s the kind of designer I aim to be.
I’ve worked as the first designer at early-stage startups like Vitaon, Hallo, and PLASK AI, where I built design systems, crafted product flows, and turned ambitious ideas — from personalized health quizzes to motion capture tools — into real, user-focused experiences. I’ve also contributed to fintech products at Splitwise, helping launch features like Splitwise Pay and the Splitwise Card during a high-growth phase.
I was born in South Korea and grew up across different parts of China, which taught me to see from multiple perspectives and connect with people from all kinds of backgrounds. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me singing, gaming, cooking, or sketching something for fun. And yes, I’m powered by music and Coke Zero.
